It’s the start of the season and those early matchdays, where every punter and pundit predicts the outcome of the league. Goal.com conducted a poll from the 14th of this month until the present day and the results are startling.
While many felt that Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal are the weak link amongst the Big Four, whom either an Everton, or an Aston Villa, or a Tottenham or even a Manchester City would replace, Goal.com readers have a different opinion altogether.
The opening day 6-1 victory away to Everton dispelled all doubts which arose due to the minimal transfer activity of the north London side.
Only 1.27% readers felt that the Shiekh Revolution at Manchester City would earn them the silverware with Liverpool being backed only by 8.86%.
Defending champions Manchester United and Chelsea are jointly the second favourites with 29.11% votes coming for them each.
